hey hun, the kiln's unloaded.
Well, I'm friggin' exhausted. I went to bed at 11:30pm, got up for diaper duty at 1am and 5:30am. Got up at 7am to get goin' for the day. I took my son, Coleman, to child care and I worked on numerous things around the house. I unbricked the door of the kiln throughout the day. It was a hot sucker....ping. The results were pretty good. I have to grind the crap out of one of those oribe pots. It was a re-fire and just got a liitle fluid. It is a nice one, though. It's all part of the process.
Tomorrow, I'm setting up pots for this weekend's studio stroll. You should come and see me and my new pottery. I'm thinking about holding another raffle during the weeked stroll. It's fun and gets people excited about pottery. If you come you can enter. Maybe I should raffle one of these new oribe pots....hmmmm. I'll sleep on it in between diaper duty. Goodnight, moon.

Monday
Just a couple things today. On Saturday, my wife gave birth to Carly Mae Carpenter, our second child. Mom and baby are healthy.
I also wanted to announce the winner of the mug raffle. Amy Huacani is the proud new owner of that nice coffee mug. Congratulations! Thanks to everyone that signed up for the newsletter. There will be more raffles in the future.
I'm also firing the kiln today, along with mowing the grass, and having baby time. Good monday to you!
