Afternoon visit

This afternoon I strolled up to Bakersville to visit Michael Kline and Courtney Martin. They were both firing their wood kilns. They live about a half mile from each other. It was freezin' cold up there. Here's some of the photos I snapped.

Studio Stroll Recap

The studio stroll, here in Asheville, was this past weekend. It was a wonderful weekend to do it. 70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Sales were great and I made pots the entire time. It's always nice to show people the process. I had a step stool next to my table so that children could get a closer look as well. Well, no rest for me. Coffee and blogging, then straight to the studio to make more pots.

I'm decorating bird cups today. I probably have 30 that are already sold. That's what happens when you put them on a postcard and haven't made any in a long while. Pretty good problem to have I suppose.
