Hi, Kyle. It appears from the photos of the kiln that you do not use kiln wash on the shelves. I assume the absence of kiln wash allows you to flip them. While the blue glass is not hard to scrape off. But, how about the wads that stick?

actually, a few firings ago i washed some of the shelves due to the runny oribe glaze. some didn't get washed. no problem with wads sticking. i just run a brick rub across the shelf and they fall off. some stubborn wads get knocked off with a chisel.
