loading #3

Well, here I am once again showing a picture of the kiln during loading. This is the back stack. It's a 12X24 single stack all of the way up. Next will be two 12X24 shelves that share center posts, making the stack 24X24. The kiln is made to fit three 12X24 shelves across. There's a lot of small pots in this load, which I need very badly. I have six mugs in my inventory. That's no good. Anyway, there will be a few large vases in the front stack. I'll be firing #3 on Tuesday and unloading Thursday. Here's to 13 hour days, and making pots for a living and.......whiskey.

Good luck with #3. By the way your blog banner is awesome. I love the outline of NC over the green lettering. Great design.

Hope your firing went well! I too have trouble keeping mugs in stock, apparently fewer people are buying teapots and brewing tea right in the cup instead!
